FR is where it's at. Redid my RRV (again...) for an upcoming game. It's far from the usual setup seen on most people's rig but it technically will work for the use I have, hopefully this will turn out to be true!

Now I run an M4 with that setup, I use half of the SAW to carry 3 mags bringing my total capacity to 7 and I use the other half for a stubby Nalgene bottle I have (since Camelbak tends to freeze out on winter games). The 60 pouch carries all the misc kit I might have on me (spare radio batteries, RHS, lightsticks, knife, snacks). The flash and frag pouch usually are big enough to fit the "medic" kit issued ingame and the buckles make for faster access. It feels really balanced when I put in on and is great when I put my pack on.

And since too many people are getting FSBE these days I'm simply chasing the rarer 04-05 stuff hahaah (color is much nicer anyways)

Will my WE M4 Cqb-r with crane stock, mk18 ris2 do for starter (have magpull mbuis on it)?
I have also a Mich 2000 helmet and bates (Marine) desert boot...
Not much to start but...

Nothing magpull on your M4. MK18 RIS and RIS II is not the same.
If you want to go for a very new impression you need MJK gear with a RIS II on your M4.

Crane Stock and LE are good to go.

My ris is a Daniel defense mk18 ris2...
Can alway buy another Buis (from mia forum list).

Bwaa never mind for the MK18 RIS II you are right,.. The one used by the MARSOC is the M4A1 RIS II lol

The FDE repro 6004 is very decent for 60$. No soft lining so it will wear a bit the paint... but otherwise it's accurate and looks the part. And works well. Although looking a bit, the real Safariland can be found on sale for 100$ from time to time, brand new.

Issue MARPAT BDUs are cheaper than Truspec... less than 100$ for the set. I got mine for 60$ shipped with the boonie! Add the repro Norotos for about 25$ too. IMHO it's important for the look.

While I have the camera and speedlights out...

That's the DD M4A1 RISII (FDE), in other words the 14.5'' version with a KAC 600m rear BUIS (black) and KAC flipup front sight (FDE) and an AN/PEQ-16
