Very sweet!!! That's the look in going for

GBBR

Hey y'all... So I'm trying to decide on a GBBR, might I get some opinion on what you consider to be a good GBBR? I'm looking for as real to a steel weapon as possible in the M4 style! Maybe some time down the road go to a HPA system!

WE or GHK, We has many many parts that can be swapped for RS ones, with little to no modification. GHK im not sure but its a reeally really good system

I'm not a fan of HPA systems, but if you want something that has recoil, is mostly real steel spec, and is HPA, get the Tippmann M4. Of all the HPA guns I have tried, aside from a Daytona Gun M249, it was my favourite HPA setup to shoot.

It's not a cheap investment, but nothing worth while in airsoft is.

T@NK March 10th, 2016 20:37

HPA? Why don't you go play paintball?

Wilkie March 11th, 2016 21:31

I agree with T@NK. Ease of matenence, among other things, is a pretty rough trade off for having a hose protruding from your gun, the gun we try to make look as realistic as possible

ThunderCactus March 11th, 2016 21:38

HPA is here to stay, for some people it's perfectly reasonable to trade in a consistently failing gun for a hose coming out the back as some areas just don't have the luxury of a tech that knows wtf they're doing.
Some people want to run GBBRs in temperatures outside the capability of MAP and propane.
I mean the tippman is a way better option than tapping every mag on a GBBR, but HPA is here to stay as an option. I don't get why it gets so much flak for having a tube that you can't even see from 100ft away.
It's an option, and it's a good option. Sure it's not milsim, but we're not all here to play pretend soldier: COD airsoft warfare.

Airsoft yes just looks realistic but are just toys. It doesn't give off a big bang, it doesn't even come close to a real AR's recoil, and worse, no empty shells ejecting.

Back on topic, HPA is just another more reliable propellent over propane and the TM toy gear box that self destructs.

I have them all and have to say HPA is the most reliable but a GBBR is more fun.
So someday, I will get a Daytona upgrade just for fun.

Won't expect you guys have any idea how we play with HPA 20 years ago back in HK, and also have any clue that AEG was invented to take over HPA's place, the way how people praise HPA is just like bring a dead body back to life from its grave with rotten meat hanging on it's arms and dress it up with nice fancy suits and perfume and call it Saint . talk about realistic, if realistic is not a major factor then maybe one should try something else instead of playing airsoft. I have real steels and I play airsoft, most of time I play airsoft because it's the most realistic thing next to my RS, and It doesn't give off a big bang, it doesn't come close to a real AR's recoil, and better, no empty shells ejecting so it won't annoying my neighbor and call 911 on me.

this is the end of my input on this topic.

20 years ago HPA was still new and had a lot of issues. 20 years ago, CO2 was king. Today, HPA is king over CO2.

You are not the only one here that owns or shoots real steel.

As for annoying your neighbours... If I was in HK and saw you shooting a object looking like a "WEAPON" in your backyard making no sounds or ejecting shells, I will call the police on you!

Besides, AEG does not replace HPA. They tried AEG on pistols, that failed. Maybe in the future it can be refined. Right now you pick the power source you like... AEG electric, propane, CO2, spring, or HPA.

There is less than 1% of people have backyard in their house in HK......and we shoot our airsoft in our bed room and the neighbors is not as panic as the neighbor here......

We all know we are not the only one owns or shoot firearms in this world.

20 years ago, war gamer did replace their equipment from HPA to AEG. And you know why??? You will find out if you have a chance to participate a game with HPA Gun only.

Lol!!! do you still keep the diaper that you use 20 years ago?

pestobanana March 12th, 2016 23:42

HPA in airsoft is sort of like going to a motorcycle event with a moped.

Because imagine a tippman made with the same materials as a tokyo marui mechbox, and no hopup.
The old sun project guns were horrific.
