Blackhawk Modular Drop Leg Platform

http://www.blackhawk.com/product/Mod...rm,815,112.htm

I'm looking for first hand info on this product. Is it just as reliable as the Serpa platform? Does it wiggle? I couldn't find a real review on it, just a sales pitch which is why I'm asking if anyone owns one.

Pm georgehutchison (check the name spelling) on these boards he runs them all the time and has never had an issue. I don't think he's ever lost a gun or a mag either.

Best platform I've ever had! I use one for my pistol, I used to have the fabric ones...then I found one in tan. Never using anything else ever again

As reliable yes, but depending on the real scale of mags you put in you way have some woble or loose a mag.
I knew a guy who made a Big Red One outfit with M9 pouches, they work well with KJ mags.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you looking specifically at this instead of the BHI STRIKE platform?

Yeah I wanted the hard polymer base. I had seen that and was not impressed. I was hoping that the Modular Drop Leg was like the Serpa.

Did you actually see one of them in person? Cuz I've been thinking of picking one up since it's the only one I can find with the 2 leg straps...
