Cheap Airsoft Batteries

Alright so i was looking on ebay for batteries for airsoft that are cheap with lots of mah but come from hong kong. I'm fine with waiting 2 weeks but if it's possible for me to get batteries like that close to Windsor Ontario at a store or something. That would be great.

Ok lets put it this way. A 8.4v mini type with 2800mah for 14$ without shipping and measurments do fit my PEQ box. I don't think any aisoft retailer will have them since they usually seem to sell these airsoft batteries that are EXTREMELY overpriced.

Thats a god damn big battery. And for that price obviously a piece of crap. If I were you I'd stick to Fox Fire, or at least Intellect.

Why is it crap? I've heard from many people that it really doesn't matter why kind of battery it is, that it's just a power source and a couple guy's iv'e gamed with back at the old wilderness paintball place said that would be fine for my gun.

Its a piece of crap (probably) because the cells are garbage, the wiring will be a really thin gauge and shitty quality. It matters because cheap batteries go inside your expensive guns.

Aren't cheap batteries like cheap guns and chargers loaded with AIDS and the like?

Man to me though they just seem to overpriced especially along all our other overpriced airsoft products in Canada but hey. Whatta supposed to do. Since it's only 14 bucks i'll order one from Hong Kong and see how it holds up and if it truly fails me in a very short amount of time then i'll get a good battery. Also the brand of the battery i want is super power but i'm willing to risk 14$. Not that big of a deal.

The ebay batteries actually have decent cells, I have bought one just to test. Also, try 7.4 LiPos. RC shops have time for pretty cheap prices.
