It's likely a CR2032 battery, get three for $1 at Dollarama, or two for $8 at Walmart.

Oh wait, my brain farted, was talking about the battery, quarter sized, for a lot of scopes, in my brain I thought Tasco Aimpoint, is actualy Tasco Red Dot. Ignore, but the batteries I mentioned ARE found in a lot of auto remotes, garage door opener remotes, scopes and sights, etc. So the good info still stands for the record.

Check with the seller, I don't see where else the battery would be. You probably want to use the slot on the luminosity adjustment knob, you want to unscrew the cap on the knob, not the knob itself.

It's only the first 2-3mm that comes off, just before the ridges.

ok im still very confused, i was told i another post to unscrew the brightness selector now what this luminosity cap or w.e, i have no idea what this is and in all honesty im a little frustrated, not at you, but because this thing should come with a manual saying where and how the sight is put together.

Same thing.

Hold green, turn red counter-clockwise.

Unscrew the cap where the red arrow is pointing. You may need to hold the dial in place and use a coin or screwdriver in the slot!

Edit: Ha double you pleasure!!!

Alright guys i finally figured it out. Now i need batteries but since u guy's are helpful i'd like to ask ANOTHER question about the SAME red dot sight. Alright i havn't really gamed it so i have no clue what the performance is like but the red dot does not go into the centre of the sight so its really not possibl to aim properly. I can either keep it right near the centre or WAAAAAAYYYYYY over to the right. It's really annoying and i didn't buy this sight just for asthetics.

Sounds like your tinkering threw the sight calibration off. You just need to re-zero your reddot. You can quickly do a coarse calibration by flipping your irons up and zeroing the dot until it more or less lines up with your irons. Next step would be to set up a target downrange between 15-30 m, shoot a 5 rd group, estimate the group's centre, and adjust your windage/elevation to move your estimated centre to centre of target. Repeat as necessary until you reach zero.

When you're doing this, make sure your gun's on a very stable platform (tripod, table, prone, whatever) - you want as minimal a barrel wander as possible so your 5 shots are as accurate as possible.

sadly the gun came with the sight off centre. Also i dont have iron sights so that would be a no. I tried to put it in the centre but it wont go. Also iv'e heard that on most sights the actual laser comes out of the top or bottom but this one comes from the left side so i have no idea on what to do on this one.

1. Go to paintball field
2. Vice the gun to a table (or prop it securely)
3. Dial in the hop-up. You want to figure out the flightpath first.
4. Dial in the scope

Define your expected range of engagement. Depends on the fields you play on and your style of play. Dial in the hop-up to that range.

The other two knobs on the sight control elevation and wind age, check the arrows to figure out what pushes the dot where. You might need to unscrew the caps to adjust with a screw-driver (if the knobs are screwed in, they might control the adjustment screws directly). Don't go too hard, cheaper sights don't like to get pushed too hard.

You got a decent first sight, but you'll have issues with keeping your zero.
