Exclamation AGM STG44 spring compatibility

I've just been chrono over 415FPS with my new AGM STG44.

So I decided to open it up, following extensive image web base site and video. Most, not to say all, are mentionning that the spring is shorter than normal in this gearbox.

I got 4 different Prometheus spring, ranging from 90 to 110, but they all are really longer than the one in place!

What to do next, before going to a Gundoc?

Just worried that the inch longer will dammage the piston.

there are shorter springs on the market.. the vs springs at airsoftdepot are shorter than normal... they were so short in fact I was worried about using them.

If it's a standard v2 then the prommy spring will fit in a v2 gearbox. If you've set up the piston aoe properly then you shouldn't have to worry much about the piston unless it's a garbage piston.

The thing seems rock solid for a Chinese package. The grease is ugly, but seems ok. I will regrease it with a silicone base setup.
