Hey guys
So tuesday I asked him to refund me unless he could ship the item this week.

He then promptly sent me a tracking number, a surprising coincidence

This tracking number (RC034778783HK) seems to be associated with ParcelForce (does not conform to HK post format), which is in the UK. As you guessed, neither him or I is in the UK.

So I'm thinking he sent me a boggus number to shut me up and not refund; Should I come back to him with this?

The tracking info hasn't been received yet (if it ever does). I'm thinking of waiting tomorrow evening before asking him what the hell is this.

If my assumotion is correct, he just lost me as a customer, no matter how you see it, this is no way of treating a customer IMO.

What are your thoughts on this?

Give it a couple more days and check if it shows up on canada post tracking. If not just dispute it you have 45 days with paypal.

He did the exact same thing for me when I threatened him with a dispute... Sent me 3 different BS tracking numbers, all bound for the USA.

Thanks for the info, I'll ask him why he gave me a bogus Tracking# then and see what he says from there.

I've got only 10 more days to dispute (Thanks Sushicake! I thought it was 30 days)

Put in the dispute now. It takes PayPal some time to go through the process anyway. Once (if) you receive your package, you can cancel the dispute.

Oh i really should of looked at this thread before ordering form them now, i ordered a hand full of things just under $150, i placed my order on june 19th and it still says processing which is normal, but i just checked my paypal and it still says my address is unconfirmed, so that might be the reason for the delay, but i will keep everyone updated as well on my order, they seem like a good place to order and the prices were good, so hopefully im not waiting months for this to arrive ( fingers crossed )

Man... I just sent him my email giving him an ultimatum of refunding or I would init. the dispute on Monday.

Seems like the bugger is going on vacation (according to the apparently automated response I got).

Seems legit enough, as he usually don't reply emails at night (it's 10:30pm over there) from what I got...

Guess I'll initiate the dispute anyways like you said Crunch.

It'll show me of wanting to save a few bucks... I won't be shopping there any more I think.

Yeah, you definitely want to get the dispute in while the transaction is still eligible for it. Once the timeframe is gone, it's gone, and there's nothing you can do.

I'm not sure if you need to panic quite yet. You said you placed an order on June 19th to Hong Kong retailer that ships via mail.

I doubt something from Ontario would reach you in 2 days via mail.

You might still be lucky, however your order will be delayed another 5 days for sure since he apparently said he's on vacation (see my last post)

yeah i seen your last post Paradox so its going to suck for it being delayed more, but Danke your right i don't think i have any reason to panic yet, it does take a few days for it to process anyways, hopefully it all comes out good in the end, but i will keep everyone updated,

and yeah like paradox i will not be shopping there anymore, i'd rather just pay a little more ( not always the case either ) and shop at ehobby or somewhere else

if you guys don't get much responses from HK retailers, it's because it's the dragon boat festival this weekend. It's pretty much a long weekend for them over there. I emailed my favorite customer service rep, Trina from Airsoftpark and she said that from friday till monday, they will all be out of office because of the Dragon boat festival.

So a little update on my order, i got an email saying it was shipped today, the only thing there is going to be at least 2 packages, not a big deal now i just have to wait for more packages that's all, and so hopefully nothing is missing and now its a waiting game! woo
