ICS

Good day,

I was wondering where can I find ICS parts? Im dealing with Mach1airsoft usually but lately I cant get anything and I placed an order like 4 months ago and they seem to get nothing. I went in the US with evike, great site great service but I recently purchased a silencer for my ICS M4 and the freaking tip was red even though they said it wouldnt, returning it would be a waste of money so il try to paint the red part black (any advice on doing that anyone??) but it just seems hard to get ICS parts here. I just started this year so I am a noob in airsoft and I dont know many sites to go to (trustworthy) thanks for any help

Are there any specific parts you're looking for? Going to Mach 1's retail store, you will notice a lot more product than they have on their website.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Mach 1 has ICS suppressors, just not on their site.

First, you can use any brand of parts except for receiver and mechbox shell... and buffer tube/barrel/hopup is you don't want to do any modifications.

So any -14mm silencer will work on it.

Then, when I need ICS parts, BlazingToys and SpeedyToys are good places to get the ICS-specific parts like the upper mechbox and ARL lever... or even the hop-up unit.

You can also look on ebay, seller otgairsoft has lower gearbox and uppers very cheap... On the listings he says he doesn't ship to canada, but if you ask him he will. Very nice guy to deal with...

Damn it, you beat me too it.
I was also going to suggest BlazingToys for ICS parts as well. I have dealt with BlazingToys over the past few years and they are a good source for ICS parts, plus most of which is instock.
cheers

if the silencer is metal use laquer thinner on the painted tip.. if its plasitc it could melt from the laquer thinner, the paint will come off with just a little bit of rubbing with laquer.

if its plastic and its not painted but is red, use a fine grit sand paper, (400, 600) and scuff it up and then paint it using matte krylon or spray on truck box liner in light coats using a hair dryer to dry it between. make sure that you use the sand paper before you paint because the paint bonds to the rough surface. if you dont sand first, the paint could flake or peel off because it didnt adhere properly.

We carry or have direct access to most ICS parts. Can get from Mach1 here or from US and Taiwan if it is not available in Canada.

thanks all for the help, I fixed the silencer and it looks fine now! most parts Im looking for are externals but I like what they have on the ICS site and I know theyll fit just fine. Im just having a hard time to reach Mach 1 and evike said it might take up to 4 months lol Id much rather deal with Canada then US especially since that last fail purchased of red tip cause I ordered a full upper receiver for M4 and a different flash suppressor for my MX5 hopefully they wont be red but most of the other part I really want from ICS, so far I really like them and usually with Mach 1 I get everything in the same week but I knew that was a special order except the guy wont reply to my email....

I haven't ordered anything from Mach1 online but have been to the store quite a few times now and they've been great to deal with. they have a lot more in stock than shows up with the website. like a lot of smaller etailers its a bit of a challenge to keep those things in sync.
if you can get to the store they have a tonne of stuff on display and are generally very cool about letting you be "hands on" with things. If you can get to the store (thurs/fri/sat morn, near 407/Pinevalley) its worth the trip
