A high torque motor, 6.03mm tight bore, piston+piston head, and cylinder head.

It would pull it, but it was fairly sluggish. I can't wait to try it with an 11.1 lipo. I personally wouldn't run a 8.4v in it ever. If you don't feel comfortable with an 11.1 lipo, then I would recommend getting a 7.4 lipo, it's pretty much a 9.6v nicad but with a little snappier response. Check out Hobbyking, here's a good 7.4 lipo: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...FT%5FPack.html
I've bought a bunch of lipos from these guys and their prices are great for good quality products.

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_inf...oducts_id=1233

both are same length and 6.03. i dont think a 6.01 is needed for an assault rifle

You've got some issues with the gears that link the switches or something else going on. Mine's been apart too and it's the slickest of all my ambi switches.

If you have the money for Prometheus, go for it if you want, I've heard they're top quality. I personally just bought a Madbull 6.03mm TB for my HK 416, and that's what I've got in my SCAR. Prommy is a little outside my price range, and considering Madbull TB's are really good anyways I'm ok with it.

I got a Guarder Infinite Torque Up motor http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=874
As far as the other parts, I don't know what brand they are, you'd have to ask lanepratt.

Haha good ol' Canadian pricing.

I made the same mistake when I started on here, you have to go into your settings and change it so that it saves your sent messages. It'll have been sent anyways though.

i know this is slightly off topic but
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2...-17-and-mk-20/

looks like the SEALs will definitely be using it. hopefully it becomes more popular in the airsoft world (that was the on topic part)

No problem dude, happy to help you out.

That's cool to hear, glad the SCAR L is still in use, considering it appeared to be getting phased out in military use.

It was never intended to be picked up by the average infantry soldier. The name is kind of a dead giveaway IMO; "Special Operations Forces (SOF) Combat Assault Rifle".

It was always intended to be a modern supplement to SOCOM's arsenal. Even then they were really only looking at the MK 17 and MK 20.
