Thanks guys, I was actually really surprised by the build of it (I know I know its a sten and not much to it) But I have fumbled around with some Deact stens before and its just a great replica.

Oh and its the newer "Version 2" with the adjustable Hopup and 8.4V stick that goes in the stock.

My thoughts exactly! It was a nice surprise especially because I though I was going to get a version 1.

Hmmm...I dig it.

Off topic, but was the butt of your .303 replaced at one time or did the furniture get pieced together from different rifles? Quite the contrast in colors.

No.... the buttstock is not part of the main stock... it bolts onto the back of the receiver. The forestock also has 3 pieces... the main lower part and two top sections. So it is 4 pieces.

I showed it to my Grandpa tonight and his eyes absolutly lit up as soon as he saw it. (He was issued a Mk.2 in WWII) he couldnt put it down and didnt realize it wasnt real until he went to take the stock off and said in his plucky brit accent "Somthins not right here?" haha
