Help with performance

Greets,

I'm unhappy so far with the range and accuracy performance of my M4. Well, range is okay I spose, but it's mostly accuracy. I have been upgrading parts and such, but it's still not performing as well as other Stock M4s that I'm comparing it to.

So here's my setup, is there anything missing or I should be replacing?

Stock G&G CM16 Gearbox, lubed well.
M120 Spring
Madbull Black Python v.2 363mm, 6.03
SHS Plastic Hop Up chamber
G&G Green Rubber

I've teflon taped around barrel/chamber assembly. [edit] I have also wrapped some electrical tape around the barrel to stabilize it. However there is a little wobble going through the silencer.

Any guidance with this stuff is greatly appreciated, I'm still fairly new to this but trying to figure it out.

Thanks.

Get your gun r-hopped by a pro. Run high quality BBs, 0.28g or heavier. Look into a higher quality barrel (PDI or Laylax). Make sure your nozzle is in good shape, possibly replace. Ensure your gun is cycling and feeding properly (mechbox, motor, battery, magazines, etc).

As for performance issues; ask your doctor about cialis...

I'm using .25s, so I'll get some .28s next to try.
Nozzle is stock G&G, so could likely be due to be replaced

As for feeding issues, it feeds good, batteries are new 9.6v, can't use lipo, nor want to. Motor was fine last time I had it checked out (prior to my current upgrades).

I don't know anybody that can do the r-hoppness, and I honestly don't feel comfortable figuring it out on my own through online tutorials or anything..

I was hoping not to switch out the barrel being I had JUST got it.. I'll leave that as a last resort I spose.

Barrel swap isn't likely necessary, but it could help. The BBs are a must, but make sure the brand is good, not just the weight. Find someone to do an R-hop, that's your number one. There should be people on here that can somewhat near you, or just ship it to them.

If the fps is consistent, then run heavier BBs.
If it's still inaccurate on good, heavy BBs, then get a tech to redo the hop rubber

Awesome, this is useful info.

Thanks a ton. I'll try the bbs first, likely the cheapest option so get that outta the way. Then go from there.

Thanks guys
