Actually, there are almost always a screw behind this sticker. As to remove the screw you have to bust the sticker and therefore void your warranty.

Thats how the retailer know you busted it yourself :P

+1 to what Boyso said.

MANY electronic items have the sticker placed somewhere that would break upon disassembly (same goes for XBox, PS2, PS3, Wii, etc etc.) This ensures that the user doesn't go tinkering around inside, only to break something and trying to say "oh, it came like that."

No it didn't, you broke it yourself.

I was going to edit my previous post saying that I can't find my sent message to his PM asking me about HK retailers :P Not used to this forum as I generally use it to get 1911/2011 info.

Can simohayha post my PM up...and remove any swear words I might have used (wasn't directed at any retailer, shop or person...I think I just typed P.I.T.A. in full )? Or can anyone tell me how to access my sent message?

Btw; anything I said in my PM is merely what I believe are the 'best' parts for the 1911/MEU (internally) that can be bought in HK stores or ProG4. There could be better parts out there and I might be wrong with my assumptions about some of the parts I recommended to simohayha.

@death2000:below is the PM from intinerious, i edit it a bit but all the important info is there.

I'll get all my Nova control (safety, slide catch, mag catch, etc.) from Gunsnguys as they have relatively good service, and I think they still have a 10% discount off their Nova parts. Not sure if they have the metal body kits, but if they do then get it from Gunsnguys as well. As for the Pistol itself; get it from Tokyo Model Company or Gunsnguys, whichever is the cheapest (or walk around the whole Kwong Wa Street to see which shop carries the cheapest TM 1911).

I don't recommend the 5ku action bulb, so get the action bulb instead (since you have the cash anyway, don't get the crappier parts!). Actually, I wanted to get the action bulb too; but none of the shops carry it seperate from the action piston head. DENTrinity has the action piston head WITH the action bulb for HKD160, so get it there and try to sell off the piston head somewhere else.

As for the hammer, sear, valve knocker, etc. please get it from ProG4:

http://www.prog4.com/db/index.asp

They are the OEM for Airsoft surgeon parts and the steel hammer sets sold in ProG4 (its a webshop only, so you need to have a paypal account or something) include a steel sear, hammer strut and valve knocker. I got my hammer set from ProG4 and for HKD333 (assuming you get it delivered to your hotel in HK) it's the best quality and quantity for value out of all the available options.

Anyway, I covered the bulb, hammer, sear and vavle knocker. Next is the high flow valve. get the KM/Head1860 instead. Retail at HKD135 in DENtrinity or Tokyo Model Company. I use them myself and they are GOOD. Get the nine ball dyna piston head WITH the shooters design POM nozzle (forgot the prices in HKD sorry!). The fitment of the piston head with the POM nozzle is a near perfect fit. I dunno whether the action piston head will do the same but if it does, then you dont need to spend money on the nine ball one

as for precision inner barrel...its really up to you. PDi's good for power, but I got the Nine ball 6.03mm instead. the 6.03mm retails at HKD210, so PDi's gonna be around HKD300-ish.

Can you check whether the nine ball recoil spring is 150%? I'll recommend a guarder spring set because it includes a 150% hammer spring, which you didnt list. If your hamemr spring is stock, your metal gun won't work properly because the gas released would be too weak for it to shoot properly.

btw I don't think the spring pluger set for 5.1 hicapa will work for the 1911. Ask Illusion about it. But if I were you I wont bother with that part because the stock part works perfectly.

The nine ball hop up rubber is what I used to achieve near perfect air seal with my MEU. so for power, I'll say go with the nine ball rubber (use .25g though, apparently it doesnt hop .2g bbs well). The firefly one will cost more, but it's more accurate from what I hear. The nine ball rubber is HKD110 if I remembr correctly.

Also, get some Guarder Airtight Rubber for M1911/Detonics Series for your mags:

http://www.uncompany.com/pageproduct...p?prodid=23647

from my friend's and my own experience if you forget to lube them the stock rubber will wear down FAST. If they wear down you'll have gas escaping the mag sideways when the mag is fired. The Guarder ones won't break unless you poke them with something sharp or cut them. They dont require lubing either from my experience.

Btw; the 1911 mags are better in gas capacity than the MEU ones, BUT if you ever drop your mags on concrete; say bye bye to them because the metal base plate is gonna break on you. Therefore, I suggest you sell off the 1911 mag back at home and buy all MEU mags (they cost around HKD220). The MEU mags have a slightly lower capacity than the 1911 ones (but I dunno if its significant enough for you to notice) but you can swap out the plastic base plate with aftermarket ones in case they break, which you cant do with the 1911 ones (if the 1911 metal base breaks, you'll need to source out the original marui parts..which is a pain in the ass and its expensive). For my own gun, I use MEU mags (since my gun is an MEU as well!) with the KM high flows plus the readyfighter Kimber style base:

http://www.airsoftglobal.com/product...ducts_id=13419

I see that you use the magwell style MSH. In real steel 1911s, the kimber mag base makes the mag fit better on a 1911 with magwells. I'm not SURE whether the kimber styled base plates will fit the Nova magwell (it's airsoft afterall, different manufactuers have different specifications!) but if it does then get the kimber bases! I's HKD130 for THREE (at DENtrinity) and its cheaper per base plate than the other aftermarket base plate that is available, the DYTAC Wilson Combat one (HKD60 for ONE). Plus it's thicker at the bottom so if you drop your mags the plastic base plate should help absorb some of the shock and you wont damage your mags.

My MEU had problems with the disconnectors so I got myself the steel ones for durability and apparently the shape of the sear disconnector is better for the slide movement. The sear spring (the three pronged metal thing) is thinner than the stock marui one and will allow you to have a MUCH lighter trigger pull if that's what you want. BUT if you are ordering the hammer set from ProG4, then order their sear spring and sear disconnector instead along with the hammer set because the airsoft surgeon parts are the same as the ProG4 ones and the ProG4 ones should be cheaper since ProG4 is Airsoft Surgeon's OEM.

Oh one last thing; again if you have a LOT of cash, buy the PRoG4 trigger stock as well:

http://www.prog4.com/db/product-show.asp?refno=AR1419

Just for the sake of completeness with upgrading, right? :P The steel trigger stock should be more durable.
