the CBSA agent I was talking to over the phone over an import issue informed me that all parts of a gun body (upper and lower) are restricted components, regardless of the location of the serial number. A p90 body was being discussed (serial on the upper) I asked about an m4 in comparison, he said both upper and lower were restricted. This was my import story in november. YMMV.

So, I planned on ordering a USP Tactical barrel from KWA, should I change my mind?

The he's an idiot or a liar, or both.

Pistol slides are completely fine to import. M4 uppers are completely fine to import. Pistol lowers are not. M4 lowers are not.

Even for real firearms.

Maybe he just didn't know well enough... I argued my case and he changed his mind for my incident number and released my goods, but anyone should be prepared to defend their case to import so knowing the laws and import regulations is important for anyone importing anything. Don't just assume it will come in.

Crazy kwa shipping

Still trying to find parts in Canada, 3 base seals for mags is $30 in ups shipping...the part is $3.25 each...Thinking the better way is to ship to a friend in the us and have them slap a stamp on it and ship to canada.
