Wow, dude. When I was 15 and started playing airsoft I didn't act mouthy just because I was on my man-rag for 'having a bad day'. You would have been torn to bits 8 years ago.

Skeletor helps alot of people and answers alot of questions on the gear forums and all over this forum. I've seen him. It's not cool to get argumentative with the people you came to for help. You asked a question and if you're cool about it people are more likely to help you. If you be a dick, you get treated like a dick. Take notes homie, he was actually trying to help you with your q.

And btw, that movie was goofy and not realistic at all in terms of gear/clothing. Especially for a military unit. You've got supposed high speed guys running around Iraq in airsoft replica BLACK chest rigs. So take that for what its worth! Cheers.

Okay, you want to know what you see most special forces rocking in Afghanistan? Fast Attack Plate Carriers, but they are new 2008 and up. I'm trying to draw/do something older which means none of these fancy plate carriers we have today but meh, perceive that I get all of this from a movie and fucking video games and that I don't do research on modern warfighting.

I've got the rig Conker suggested on the way. I had to sell my MSA Smoke Green Paraclete RAV for $95 to pay for it and the rush S&H but it'll be worth it I bet.

the Head Honcho guy is wearing a black RRV. But what is the back configuration? Thought it was a back plate carrier at first, but it looks a bit small for that. Plus, I've never seen the back part being secured by 3 straps on each side. Is it a hydration carrier of some sort?

Did you check Black Hawk Tactical, they've got some back plates that sort of match that profile, not to sure though. =/
