Heck, I bought some mags once (used) from a member on these boards, and when I got them they were freshly painted black, and looked perfectly new. I made a point to scratch them up, and get them looking used.
One of my pet peeves is guys who play but who keep everything looking brand new. Crisp ironed BDU's, shiny new AEG's, and sparkling clean gear kind of ruins the look, in my opinion. There's a difference between taking care of your gear and babying your gear. I choose to take care of it, but still beat the hell out of it.
