An assault rifle weighs an average of 3/3.5 kg without accessories but SR25 is not that much heavier than an M4 with a rail system (all equipped mine weighs about 5 kg) and after a few games or playing a bit with it at home you get used to the weight.
For the mags it may not be an issue considering two things : the amount you have and the way you play.
I have 4 Pmags (170 rounds, 30 more than the 5.56) and I mostly play real cap game which means I only have 20 round per mag so 80 in total and I don't need to reload much because as a DMR I have a role close to a sniper (difference is : much better rate of fire and I don't rearm everytime I shoot) which means I take my time aiming and only do semi auto.
