Admin Pouches

By hook or by crook...I've ended up having to deal with maps/comms/org for games.

I run a Blackhawk RRV (I think they call it the commando recon harness), with the bib DOWN...I find that running with the bib up ends up with it sticking me in the throat.

So far I've been simply stuffing the maps/sheets folded up down the bib in the mesh pocket on the backside of the rig (meant for holding a plate). In a protective cover it's so-so...but it mangles the maps, wipes off dry-erase markings, smears grease pencel markings and anything paper gets destroyed if not in a plastic sleeve. It's certainly fast enought to access/stash...but there's got to be a better way.

So...I've got the cumberbund area of molle to play with.

What I'd really like is a HSGI Warlord 4 New Version-esque setup...but on the rig I have now (which I really like). And....I don't really want to dump another $200+ on a base rig.

Do you geardos know if something like a Tactical Tailor Enhanced Admin Pouch or the HSGI Mini Modular Admin Pouch would work to do that? Though being that I would put the admin pouch on the rig...then shingle single mag holders (TACOs) on top of it.

In addition to maps/info-sheets...I'd like to be able to store pens/chemlights/flashlight/compass/small knife/little notepad.

Thoughts? Opinions? Options?
