Even with the knob turned fully forward (off) there is still a significant amount of the hop-up nub protruding into the barrel. Will disassemble unit and take a look.

You can use the regular sized pouches and put 1" of blue insulation foam in the bottom to prop the mags up.

It stays in place and allows you to use pretty much every design of M4 mag pouch out...
