Hello been reading up on reviews of WE pistols, seems to be nothing but praise. But I'm wondering about the realiability of the parts and is it ready right out of the box or some major/vital upgrades are needed before its combat ready? Or are they really maintenance heavy?

Plus, there are tons of threads about WE all over the internet, each chuck full of owners with their 2 cents worth. It's certainly not worth making a new thread over.

only problem with my WE 1911 classic is that the slide doesnt rack when the mag is empty of BB's

well i got a we 1911 and the one i have the spring inside isend strong enough for the metal slide
