haha thanks man... i was looking at my drawing and realised that you should put the pivot WAY higher to multiply the force! lol

Ok perfect. Next thing to tackle is the sliding barrel that will hold the Shell in place for the Pin. Any ideas? :D And the Stock/Body, i will just carve out of some wood. Shouldn't be too hard, seeing as I'm a carpenter.

yeah the sliding barrel will be the most difficult part to do *if you want to do it nicely* you will need to come up with some rail system... maybe made with abs, go to your local hardware suppy store and watch the abs tubing shelves you will probably find something interesting.

An M79 doesn't have a sliding barrel. It's break-barrel.

Or I'm thinking The folding down version, more like the real thing, but that may be hard to get it to aline perfectly every time it's "cracked"

EDIT: I know that Styrak, I'm not going for realistic functionalism, just the Look, and the Shell part. But may go that route.

CO2 will have more pressure than propane. You would need a bit more force for CO2 use. And it's more effective with CO2.

oh! just had an idea... you know these bearing slides for drawners, stick one at the top of your "launcher" and then mount the barrel assy on it... perfect slide! yes, no, maybe!?!

edit : what?lol

Mr.Hitman, I'll just pull harder, haha. In regards to Lemega's idea, that may also work. Man you've got good ideas. Screw Down the Barrel onto the Rail, and make it stop, and lock where the Pin will strike the Shell trigger.

Another question, sorry for the bump. With the 40mm grenades, is that the base diameter? So a 39mm PVC pipe would hold it without it falling through and allowing the back rim stick out?
